Bonjour Jolie unboxing January 2015

This is my first Bonjour Jolie box and I was excited to start getting these boxes. Bonjour Jolie box is a that time of the month box. You get tampons, pads, and liners of your choosing or you can choose to just get one of them. You also get a gift which is usually some kind of jewelry, items for pampering, tea, candy, bars, wipes, and Advil. Each comes come with a theme and for January is New Year, New You.

What I got in my box...

The Gift

Blue Swarovski Crystal Pendant Necklace - $30 My favorite part of the box is the gift and it is also the main reason I want to start getting this box. I really like this necklace it is so pretty. the stone is a light blue that is swarovski.

The Pampering

I got 3 things from Bath and Body Works in which I really like them. The all smell really good but my favorite scent is the winter one.

Bath and Body Works Lotion $1.50 Scent: coconut lime verbena

Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizer $1.75 Scent: winter

Bath and Body Works Gel $1.50 Scent: white citrus

I also got warming patch for back pain, wipes, and Advil.

The Edibles

Chocolate Almond and Sea Salt Bar $1 Combining dark chocolate, roasted almonds and a touch of sea salt with chia. I didn't really care for this one but I also do not like dark chocolate. 

Cadbury's Caramello Bar $1 Cadbury's smooth milk chocolate filled with creamy caramel. This I really did like and I have bought it before. Milk chocolate and caramel together is one of my favorite chocolate bars. 

Sunkist Fruit Gems $1 These gourmet, real fruit pectin candies captures the essence of sunkist citrus fruit flavors - orange and lemon. These were pretty good.

Ahmed Tea from Loondon, England $1.50 Ahmead tea is a UK-based family business. I have never been that big on tea but I am trying to get more to trying different brands. The one I am most excited to try is winter charm.

Overall I really like this box and I can't wait for next month's box.

Fall & Halloween Favorites

It's that time of year for anything that is scary, creepy, and dead. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Halloween is an old holiday that has been around for thousands of years and is believed to have been started by the Celts. Halloween was originally called Samhain which means summer's end. The reason why I love Halloween so much is not just it's ancient roots but for the fun and spookiness of it. You are able to go out dress up how ever you want, be what you want and  scare or be scared. 

Fall is also my favorite season. I love how the leave change color and the Autumn scents. There are also so many things to do like go to the cider mill which is one of my favorite things to do. Also there is the hayrides and apple picking.

Here I will be listing some of my favorite  things for Halloween & fall.

1. Drink - Pumpkin Spice Tea from Teavana: I hear a lot of people who get excited about pumpkin spice latte but when I tried it I did not care for it at all but I'm also not big on coffee to begin with there is only one latte I like. When I tried the pumpkin spice tea from Teavana I was in love with it. It tasted amazing and is so great for the season.

2. Movie - Trick r Treat: This would have to be one of the best Halloween movies and its for adults and kids. Most Halloween movies are mostly made for kids there is really not much for adult they just watch horror movies that have nothing to do with Halloween which is fine but it would be nice to have more for Halloween movies for adults that are both creepy and scary. The move talks and the traditions of Halloween and to respect them. Not only is the is movie creepy it is still fun to watch and I would recommend anyone that loves Halloween to watch.

3.Candles - Fall Pumpkin Sugar Doughnuts Halloween Trick or Treat: These are both great candles and smell so good for fall and Halloween. Bath and body works has the best smelling candles I just wish they would last longer.

4. Perfume - eAu fLirt by Harvey Prince: This is great perfume for fall and is also one of my favorite scents. It has an apple scent with a few spices and other scents.

5. Junk Food - Oreo: You know Halloween is coming when Oreo brings out the orange cream filling. The Halloween  Oreo are a lot of fun and gets me into the Halloween mood.

6. Cupcakes - Red velvet cupcakes broken glass: These are great to make for a party. I made them for my Halloween party and they where east to make and tasted great. The only thing is when you make the hard candy for the broken glass make sure it is hot enough before you pour it on the tray or it will not get hard enough. I made this mistake. 

7. Music - Nox Arcana: they are an American neoclassical, dark ambient musical duo. Their music is great for Halloween it is dark and creepy but beautiful.
